Star’s First Alert Forecast: Tracking weekend storms
A brief stretch of dry days before Saturday rain.
Forecast Discussion: Low pressure moved along a frontal boundary along our coast Wednesday morning and brought several inches of rain. Overnight, rain will remain mostly off the coast. Clouds will stick around and lows will just dip to the upper 60s.
As we near the weekend, the boundary off the coast will begin to lift back this direction as a warm front. We will eventually return to the 90s but first, we’ll get scattered storms on Saturday. Sunday will be the better weekend day but the muggy, humid air will return.
